Job summary

Lifemark Health Group in Brampton or North York is seeking a Business Solutions Manager to partner between the Medical Assessment Division and the Technology and Analytics organization. You will define and maintain the technology roadmap, translate priorities into actionable plans, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business value.

You will balance strategic and operational needs, shape roadmaps, manage intake and portfolio decisions, and support adoption and change management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in business technology, IT business partnership, business solutions, technology delivery, program management, or a related field.
  • Strong business relationship management skills with the ability to translate operational needs into clear technology priorities.
  • Experience developing or contributing to business technology roadmaps, including prioritization and sequencing.

This is a hybrid position based at our Brampton or North York offices, with four days per week in the office and one day remote.

Brampton Location:

1 President's Choice Circle, Brampton, ON L6Y 5S5 (near Highway 407 and Mississauga Road)

North York Location:

243 Consumers Rd, North York, ON M2J 4W8 (near Highway 401 and Highway 404)

Role Overview

The Business Solutions Manager serves as the primary strategic partner between the Medical Assessment Division and the Technology and Analytics organization. Reporting to the Vice President, Applications and Security Services, this role develops a deep understanding of business priorities, defines and maintains the business technology roadmap, identifies opportunities where technology can enable better outcomes, and provides oversight of delivery to ensure solutions are executed effectively, aligned to priorities, and achieve measurable business value.

You are a strategic, relationship-focused business technology leader who can connect operational priorities with practical technology solutions. You build trust with business leaders, translate complex needs into clear priorities, and bring cross-functional teams together around shared outcomes.

You are comfortable balancing strategic and operational needs, shaping roadmaps and intake decisions, and providing delivery oversight across product, platform, operations, data, security, architecture, and business teams. You communicate clearly with varied audiences and focus on adoption, measurable value, and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership and Roadmap Planning
  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders and develop a deep understanding of business strategies, challenges, priorities, and operations.
  • Translate business priorities into a clear business technology roadmap aligned to strategic objectives and measurable value.
  • Identify opportunities where technology can enable better business and operational outcomes.
Solution Development and Delivery Oversight
  • Translate business needs into practical solution options and help shape scalable approaches.
  • Bring together product and platform teams, solution design, IT operations, data, security, architecture, and business stakeholders to advance solutions.
  • Oversee delivery progress to ensure commitments, risks, dependencies, priorities, and outcomes are actively managed.
Intake and Portfolio Management
  • Help shape, assess, and prioritize intake requests across strategic and operational needs.
  • Ensure roadmap and portfolio decisions are aligned to business value, available capacity, and delivery feasibility.
  • Support clear prioritization and sequencing of initiatives to reduce fragmentation and improve time to solution.
Enablement and Adoption
  • Support change management, communication, and adoption activities to successfully embed solutions into day-to-day operations.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to support value realization and sustained use of delivered solutions.
What we're looking for
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in business technology, IT business partnership, business solutions, technology delivery, program management, or a related field.
  • Strong business relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust, influence decisions, and translate operational needs into clear technology priorities.
  • Experience developing or contributing to business technology roadmaps, including prioritization, sequencing, and alignment to strategic objectives.
  • Proven ability to provide delivery oversight across cross-functional teams, ensuring risks, dependencies, commitments, and outcomes are actively managed.
  • Comfort working across product, platform, operations, data, security, architecture, and business teams to shape practical and scalable solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and connect technology investments to measurable value.
  • Experience supporting change management, adoption, and communication activities to ensure solutions are successfully embedded into day-to-day operations.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive-facing presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for varied audiences.
  • Healthcare, medical assessment, insurance, disability management, or related industry experience is considered an asset.
