Job summary

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Kinesiologist for the Viewpoint North York clinic to support its comprehensive healthcare management program. The role focuses on assessments, exercise programs, and return-to-work planning within a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will be registered with the Ontario College of Kinesiology, hold a Kinesiology degree, and have 1–5 years of Occupational Rehabilitation experience as an asset. The clinic offers flexible scheduling and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario.
• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program.
• Preferably 1–5 years of work experience in Occupational Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under supervision.
• Design and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
• Record progress and functional test results in client charts on a regular basis.
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
• Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients.
• Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge.
• Ensure return to work plans with client and employer are documented in the client chart.

Qualifications

Key Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist
• Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs
• Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing
• Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
• Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one‑on‑one education to clients
• Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge
• Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart
