Job summary

Viewpoint is seeking a CAT QA Coordinator in North York to review and evaluate medical assessment reports for continuity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. This in-person role supports assessors and ensures timely client delivery.

Ideal candidates are licensed health professionals with CAT/AMA Guides familiarity, strong communication, and meticulous organizational skills. Located at 235 Yorkland Blvd, North York.

Qualifications

  • Must be a regulated health professional with at least 3 years' experience in Kinesiologist, Physiotherapist or Nurse, or prior QA experience in insurance/IME.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate medical assessment reports for continuity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform thorough QA checks on medical documentation, including histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Identify discrepancies and provide timely feedback to assessors for correction.
  • Collaborate with assessors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide support to assessors on QA procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure reports are sent to the client on time.
  • Follow QA protocols for releasing and saving reports.
  • Offer exceptional customer service in responding to client queries.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate medical assessment reports to ensurecontinuity, consistency, accuracy, spelling, grammar and compliance with current regulations.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on medical documentation, including medical histories, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans.
  • Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in medical assessment reports and provide timely feedback to assessors for correction.
  • Collaborate with assessors, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide support to assessors on quality assurance procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure reports are sent to the client on time.
  • Ensure the timely follow-up and tracking of QA statuses and reports.
  • Follow QA protocols for releasing and saving reports.
  • Offer exceptional customer service when responding to client queries.
  • Identify issues that will impact on service standards and rectify or escape those issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • AMA Guides training or experience in reviewing CAT reports would be considered an asset.
  • A regulated health professional with at least 3 years' experience either as a Kinesiologist, Physiotherapist or Nurse OR prior experience in insurance or IME QA including an understanding of CAT.
  • AMA Guides training or C-CAT certification is an asset
  • 1-2 years work experience in medical clinic, hospital or insurance office
  • Action-oriented, highly organized, results-oriented, independent problem solver with demonstrated clinical, medical legal assessment and/or adjudication experience
  • Detailed familiarity with the current and prior auto insurance legislation, arbitration and associated legal decisions.
  • Solid command of the English language and demonstrated excellent communication skills
  • Has working knowledge of MS Word and Excel and the ability to learn and navigate new systems
  • Must be able to assume responsibility for job duties and work independently as well as team-orientated.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
