Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting a Carpenter Foreperson for upcoming work with Woodland Constructors on the Syncrude/Aurora project in Wood Buffalo, AB. Shift is Days with a 10/4 schedule and camp accommodations. Travel allowance of $250/rotation is available for eligible candidates.

Job scope includes concrete slab construction and some roof repairs. Responsibilities include supervising carpenters on-site, ensuring safety and quality, coordinating with site leadership, and meeting project milestones and

Qualifications

• CSTS-2020 certification required.
• Pre-access drug and alcohol test required.
• Valid Government Issued Identification.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of carpenters on-site.
• Ensure top-quality workmanship and safety standards.
• Coordinate with site leadership and trades to maintain project flow.
• Lead construction to meet client expectations and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, shop drawings and codes.
• Provide direction to team to achieve targets.
• Attend project meetings and relay information to team.
• Support production goals and establish team workflow.
• Coach and facilitate team huddles to maintain performance.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional sites.
