Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting Carpenter Apprentices for upcoming work at the Cameco site near Key Lake, in northern Saskatchewan. The position is a fly-in, fly-out role with a 14 days on, 7 days off schedule, accommodations in camp, and day shift.

Applicants should be registered carpenter apprentices from a recognized provincial authority and meet site access requirements. Duty includes assisting with concrete forms, layout, scaffolding and studying blueprints.

Qualifications

• Preference given to registered carpenter apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in Canada.
• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building forms for concrete.
• Assist with forming and pouring concrete slabs, grade beams and walls.
• Assist with general layout.
• Build and install scaffolding and work decks.
• Study blueprints for work planning.
• Inform supervisor of abnormalities or defects and take corrective action.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist with end-of-shift cleanup.
• Perform labourer duties when required.
