Job summary

CANA Group of Companies in Calgary, AB seeks a construction Foreman to support project execution under the Superintendent. You will lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, and promote CANA's Safety Program on site.

The role requires journeyman carpenter or equivalent supervision experience, 2–5 years in commercial construction, and strong communication, scheduling, and safety leadership. Procore proficiency is preferred, along with a solid understanding of OH&S regulations.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Carpenter preferred; other project/construction management experience considered.
• 2-5 years of commercial construction within a supervisory role.
• Strong communication, leadership, scheduling, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Procore and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure subcontract forces and our own forces work safely, quickly, and efficiently on site.
• Coordinate schedule with Superintendent and site staff to meet milestones.
• Review scope of work and supervise multi-trade activities to maintain safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Attend subcontractor site meetings and maintain site cleanliness and safety.
