Job summary

Geosam Capital in Montreal is seeking an experienced carpenter to perform framing and finishing work during evening shifts. The role involves assembling formwork, installing doors, windows, curtain walls, and wood furniture while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Applicants should hold a diploma of vocational studies in carpentry (or equivalent) with at least three years of relevant experience, or a valid journeyman card along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Diploma of vocational studies in carpentry (or equivalent) with three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general framing and finishing work.
• Assemble and dismantle formwork for concrete.
• Install and repair doors, door frames, windows, acoustic tiles on ceilings and floors.
• Install and/or move metal or wood curtain walls.
• Manufacture and repair furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other woodworks not classified as cabinetry.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Diploma of vocational studies in carpentry

Job description

Schedule: 38.75 h / week

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 8:30 PM to 11:15 PM

Start date: 2026-07-08

Requirements

• Hold a diploma of vocational studies in carpentry or any other specialty appropriate to the job class or hold a diploma or certificate of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority, and have three (3) years of relevant experience.

Or

Hold a valid construction journeyman card

• Valid driver's license.
