Job summary

Centre de services scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys (CSSMB) is hiring a carpenter to perform framing, finishing, and installation work in school facilities. The role involves making and repairing wooden structures, installing doors and fixtures, and fabricating furniture to fit classrooms and common areas.

Responsibilities include assembling formwork for concrete, installing curtain walls, and ensuring all tasks meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Hold a diploma of vocational studies in carpentry or an equivalent recognized by the authorities, and have three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Possess a valid construction journeyman card.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general framing and finishing work.
• Assemble and disassemble formwork for concrete.
• Install and repair doors, door frames, windows, acoustic tiles on ceilings and floors.
• Install and/or move metal or wood curtain walls.
• Manufacture and repair furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden works not related to cabinetry.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:30 AM to 2:15 PM\
