  • Install structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinetry, and trim with a focus on finish carpentry.
  • Perform renovation and repair tasks to maintain and improve existing facilities within accommodation and food service settings.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards, maintaining a clean and organized worksite.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals and communicate progress and challenges effectively.
  • Handle heavy lifting and operate equipment safely, demonstrating strong peripheral and depth perception to avoid hazards.

About the Role:

As a Carpenter within the Accommodation and Food Services industry in Canada, you will play a critical role in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures that enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of hospitality environments. Your expertise will ensure that all carpentry work meets safety standards and design specifications, contributing to the overall guest experience. You will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople to interpret blueprints and execute renovation projects efficiently. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of materials and power tools to deliver high-quality finish carpentry. Ultimately, your craftsmanship will support the creation and maintenance of welcoming, durable, and visually appealing spaces for guests and staff alike.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
