Job summary

PRAIRIE POINTE DEVELOPMENTS LIMITED is seeking experienced Carpenters/Construction Workers to join our Humboldt-area team. You will perform residential and commercial construction tasks, including measuring, cutting, framing, and installing building components across projects.

Strong reading of plans and attention to detail are essential; valid driver’s license required. Applicants should have 3+ years in construction and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial construction projects.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install building materials.
• Build foundations, install floor systems, frame walls, and construct roof systems.
• Install windows, doors, stairs, trim, mouldings, cabinets and hardware.
• Complete exterior work including siding, soffit, fascia, and metal cladding.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
• Work independently and collaboratively with the crew.

Prairie Pointe Developments Ltd. is a locally owned construction company proudly serving Humboldt and the surrounding area. We are looking for motivated, reliable, and experienced Carpenters/Construction Workers to join our growing team.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in residential and commercial construction
• Carpentry experience, including framing and finishing
• Experience with siding, soffit, fascia, and exterior finishing is an asset
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to read plans and understand construction processes
• Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and quality standards
• Minimum 3+ years of construction experience is preferred
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Applicants must possess a valid, open Canadian work permit, permanent residency or citizenship.
