Job summary

Green Blossoms Contracting Ltd. is seeking an on-the-road carpenter to perform carpentry tasks across multiple sites in Edmonton and surrounding areas. The role requires the ability to read blueprints, measure accurately, and install framing, doors, stairs, and finishes.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of carpentry experience, a secondary school diploma, and willingness to travel between job sites in Canada. This is a full-time permanent position with regional travel requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs.
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials for wood and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures on various sites.
