Job summary

Robertson Quality Construction is seeking a construction worker to perform skilled carpentry tasks on-site in Winnipeg, MB. You will read plans, measure, cut, assemble and install wood and steel components for frames, floors and walls.

Applicants should be able to work at heights, use hand tools, and follow safety procedures. This is a permanent, full-time on-site role with no remote options and potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Physically capable for construction work.
• Ability to read simple plans and follow instructions.
• Good teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials as specified.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
