Job summary

S&R Group of Companies is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for our Long Term Care homes in Canada. You will assist with meal service, help create a warm dining atmosphere, and support Residents during meals and events.

Responsibilities include greeting Residents, serving meals mindful of diets and textures, setting and clearing the dining area, washing dishes, and assisting with food preparation while supporting your team. Flexibility and a caring attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Certification in the Food Safety Awareness Course with recertification every 5 years
• Past experience in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurant setting
• VSS check completed within the past 6 months
• TB 2 Step updated within the last year

Responsibilities

• Greet Residents and answer questions in a courteous and professional manner
• Serve attractive, nutritious meals mindful of special diets, textures, and needs of the Residents
• Set up and cleared the dining room
• Washed dishes, cleaned and sanitized the kitchen area
• Assisted with food preparation as assigned and supported the team
