Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for its Long Term Care team. You’ll assist with meal preparation and service, follow residents’ diets, take menu orders, and maintain safe dining areas to support daily living for residents.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, relationship-building, and teamwork within a warm community. A Safe Food Handler certificate is preferred, and eligibility to work in Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Must have Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit
• Able to pass Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of meals and serving meals
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences
• Take menu orders from residents
• Set and clear tables in dining rooms and sanitize
