S&R Group is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for its Long Term Care homes in Kitchener, Ontario. You will help serve Residents during meals and special events, ensuring meals meet dietary needs and textures.

You’ll set up and clear dining areas, wash dishes, assist with food prep, and contribute to a warm home-like dining experience. Benefits include flexible shifts, extended health benefits where eligible, and team events.

Competenze

• Certification in the Food Safety Awareness Course with recertification every 5 years.
• Past experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or restaurant setting.
• Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check completed within the past 6 months.
• TB 2 Step updated within the last year.

Mansioni

• Greet Residents in a courteous, professional manner.
• Engage with Residents to inquire about their day and events.
• Serve nutritious meals while considering special diets and textures.
• Assist with setting up and clearing the dining room.
• Wash dishes and clean/sanitize the kitchen area.
• Support the team in food preparation as needed.
