Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Cargill Industrial Security Guard in High River, Alberta to monitor facilities and protect assets. You will spot threats, report incidents and work across environments such as security operation centres, call centers, and outdoor sites.

We offer an hourly wage of CAD 21 with comprehensive benefits, GardaWorld Academy training, flexible shifts, career growth, casual opportunities, and uniforms provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Have a valid Alberta security license.
• Full class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Available to work 12 hour shifts, days and nights.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Proficient with technology.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and outgoing trailers, verifying condition, temperature, seals and readiness.
• Monitor refrigerated trailers and conduct temperature checks for compliance and product integrity.
• Verify trailer weights, axle configurations, and load using truck scales.
• Review and process shipping documents, bills of lading, scale tickets and records.
• Seal trailers and confirm shipment requirements before departure.
• Maintain accurate inspection and shipping records using site systems.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers and plant departments to support daily operations.
• Investigate and document temperature deviations and equipment issues.
• Work outdoors in all weather while performing inspections and yard checks.

Responsibilities for Cargill Industrial Security Guard

• Inspect incoming oand outgoing trailers, verifiying condidtion, temperature settings, seals and transport readiness
• Monitor refrigerated trailers and conduct regual temperature checks to ensure compliance and product integrity
• Verifying trailer weights, axel configurations, and load compliance using tuck scales
• Review and process shipping documents, bills of lading, scale tickets and transportation records
• Seal trailers and confirm shipment requirements prior to departure
• Maintain accurate inspection, shipment, and complinace records using site systems
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, and plant departments to support daily transportation operations
• Invesigate and document temperature deviations, trailer discrepancies and operational issues
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions while performing inspections, yard checks, and transportation related duties.

Qualifications for Cargill Industrial Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Alberta security license
• Full class 5 Drivers License and reliable vehicle required
• Available to work 12 hour shifts - days and nights shifts
• Strong report writing skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughoutshift
