GardaWorld is seeking an Industrial Security Guard in Saskatoon, Canada. The role focuses on desk duties, scheduled patrolling and customer service, working with people across shifts in a high-profile industrial environment.

Responsibilities include welcoming visitors, controlling access, patrolling, monitoring CCTV, reporting maintenance, responding to incidents, and ensuring security procedures are followed, with room for career growth and training through GardaWorldAcademy.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• First aid certification an asset.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
• Full Saskatchewan Driving license (min past 12 months).
• Clear driving abstract (past 12 months).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience as a Security guard in a high profile site (asset).
• Leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.
• Requires Drug and Alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist visitors, verify identification, provide guidance with strong customer service.
• Control access at entry/exit points using electronic systems or checks to ensure only authorized individuals enter.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of stairs, hallways, and common areas to establish presence and identify risks.
• Monitor and document security systems and CCTV, escalate concerns when needed.
• Inspect and report maintenance needs related to security equipment and facilities.
• Respond promptly to incidents or complaints, provide first aid when required, coordinate with responders.
• Secure doors, enforce proper locking procedures, and city by-laws.
• Protect client assets against theft, vandalism, trespassing and safety concerns.
• Document all activities including incident reports and daily logs with timely communication.
• Foster positive staff relationships and act as first point of contact during emergencies.

Responsibilities for Industrial Security Guard

• Welcome and assist visitors, verify identification,issue and provide clear guidance while maintaining excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Control access at entry and exit pointsusing electronic systems or physical checks to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrolsof stairwells, hallways, and common areas to establish presence, identify risks, and maintain order.
• Monitor and document all security systems and CCTVfor suspicious activity or operational issues, escalating concerns when needed.
• Inspect and report maintenance needsrelatedto security equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to incidents or complaints, provide first aid when required, and coordinate effectively with emergency responders.
• Secure identified doors, ensure proper locking procedures, and enforce property regulations and city by-laws at all times.
• Protect client assetsagainst theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other safety concerns by remaining alert and proactive.
• Document all activities, including incident reports, maintenance logs, and daily reports, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of concerns.
• Foster positive staff relationshipsand act as the first point of contact during emergencies to ensure a coordinated and professional response
