Job summary

ComForCare is seeking a dedicated caregiver to assist clients in Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding communities, with primary duties at clients' homes in North Edmonton, St. Albert area. You will support daily activities, personal care, mobility, meal prep, and companionship to help clients live independently.

We value compassion and reliability; a high school diploma or HCA certification is required. A valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation enable travel across North Edmonton

Qualifications

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or certification in HCA.
• Access to reliable transportation or reliable vehicle and valid Class 5 drivers license to travel anywhere in North Edmonton, St. Albert and surrounding communities.
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Assist with client transportation to appointments.
