Job summary

ComForCare in Fort Saskatchewan is looking for compassionate caregivers to help clients stay independent at home. You will assist with daily activities, provide personal care, and support mobility and transportation to appointments.

We value a passion for helping others, a high school diploma or HCA certification, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel in the Fort Saskatchewan area. Prior home-care experience is a bonus, and we celebrate our caregivers' contributions with a flexible

• Previous in-home caregiver experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Provide personal care and mobility support.
• Arrange transportation to appointments and assist with meal planning.
• Offer companionship and respite for families.
• Help with household tasks as needed.
• Maintain client dignity and confidentiality.

What you'll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Assist with client transportation to appointments.

What we're looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or certification in HCA.
• Access to reliable transportation or reliable vehicle and valid Class 5 driver's license to travel anywhere in North Edmonton, St. Albert and surrounding communities.
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.
