Job summary

CBI Home Health is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator in Hamilton to manage the scheduling of direct care staff across a high-volume contact center. The role focuses on coordinating Personal Support Workers, Health Care Aides, and Nurses to ensure timely, accurate client care while maintaining strong client and staff relationships.

The position offers full-time hours (40 per week) with an emphasis on on-site work at the Hamilton office.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service, Scheduling, and/or Coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
• Keyboarding speed of 35–45 WPM.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Hamilton.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
• French language ability is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Efficient scheduling using scheduling software to assign care providers.
• Meet and exceed KPIs such as calls/chats per hour and successful scheduling of visits.
• Maintain open communication with clients, families, and care providers.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with care providers, clients, funders, and team members.
• Accurately update and manage scheduling databases, client/care provider records, and care plans.
• Adhere to Employment Standards legislation and organizational policies.
