The role involves cross‑functional initiatives with New Products, Operations and tax operations, plus governance representation in Tax Capability Sync and related forums. On-site work is required in Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, tax or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in capital markets, custody, or tax operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships across Financial Markets and Wealth Management.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Experience with regulatory or tax reporting tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily and weekly transactional controls across Capital Markets business lines.
• Compile and analyze transaction and dividend reports in collaboration with the Corporate Tax group.
• Represent the team in governance forums such as the Tax Capability Sync and the Client Onboarding and Management Capability Sync.
• Act as a subject matter expert in cross‑functional initiatives involving New Products, Operations and tax‑operations‑related processes.
• Review and assess operational risk events related to tax matters.
• Contribute to selected business and regulatory transformation initiatives.
