National Bank of Canada is seeking a finance-oriented professional to execute daily and weekly transactional controls across Capital Markets, and to compile and analyze tax and dividend reports in collaboration with the Corporate Tax group.
The role involves cross‑functional initiatives with New Products, Operations and tax operations, plus governance representation in Tax Capability Sync and related forums. On-site work is required in Canada.
The Financial Resource Management team partners closely with Capital Markets traders and Business Heads to advise on optimal allocation of financial resources. The team oversees business development and evaluates capital, liquidity, regulatory, and tax operations processes for efficiency. It also leads critical regulatory projects impacting Capital Markets and, when needed, Wealth Management.
You will report to the Managing Director, Financial Resource Management. The team values collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, resource‑constrained environment.
This role may be based in Montreal or Toronto and requires working on‑site five days per week. For candidates interested in an international opportunity, a similar position is also available in London, UK.
