Job summary

RBC is seeking a Manager, Wholesale Financial Control to help drive financial governance across global markets, partnering with trading desks, risk, operations and IT. This role reports to the Capital Markets Finance team within Canada's largest company renowned for innovation and responsibility.

You will support month-end close, lead control initiatives, coordinate balance sheet attestations, and streamline manual processes while engaging with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent designation with IFRS accounting knowledge and internal controls expertise.
• Excellent analytical thinking, ownership mindset, and sense of urgency.
• Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to work at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes and template completions.
• Drive control and governance enhancement initiatives to streamline operations.
• Lead end-to-end flow analysis collaboratively across the CM Finance team.
• Coordinate balance sheet attestation and SOD package reviews with stakeholders.
• Improve efficiency of manual processes and identify better ways of working.
• Partner with trading desks, risk management, operations, IT, and Finance functions on financial reporting projects.
