Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Capital Markets Controllers to lead the global close process, deliver timely financial results, and provide strategic insights at the executive level. You will manage a team of five professionals and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the organization to ensure strong governance and robust controls.

Candidates should bring hands-on GL experience (SAP S/4HANA) and a track record in capital markets or controller roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the global financial close process and ensure timely delivery of financial results.
• Provide financial insights, governance and controls across the Capital Markets platform.
• Lead a team and partner with senior stakeholders to support regulatory reporting and disclosures.
• Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for executives and regulators.
• Support internal and external audits and manage important reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements, risk management and policy implementation.
