Job summary

Qualicare Edmonton Northwest is hiring Health Care Aides to join our home care team. The Health Care Aide works under supervision of the Care Coordinator to provide personal care services and support clients in their daily activities.

Responsibilities include helping with hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, medication reminders, and companionship. Must have HCA certificate and CPR/First Aid or be willing to obtain, with ability to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student) and Alberta HCA Directory #.
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel around location territory
• Access to Internet/mobile phone
