Job summary

Qualicare Calgary Homecare is seeking a compassionate Health Care Aide (HCA) to join our home care team. You will work with Care Coordinators to provide personalized care that helps clients live safely and independently in their own homes. Each visit offers an opportunity to brighten a client’s day.

This ongoing role includes day shifts, approximately 5 hours per day, with immediate start available. Training and support are provided to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• HCA certificate and CLPNA registration (or in progress).
• Fluent English (verbal and written).
• CPR/First Aid training current or willingness to obtain.
• Access to Internet/Mobile phone.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients on outings.
• Shopping and errands.
• Medication assistance/reminders.
• Ambulation and transporting of clients.
• Provide companionship to clients.
• Follow care plans.
• Documentation/Charting.
