Job summary

Qualicare Calgary Homecare is seeking compassionate Health Care Aides (HCA) to join our team serving clients in Calgary and surrounding areas. This TEMPORARY role involves working with Care Coordinators to provide high-quality in-home care, helping clients live safely and with dignity in their own homes.

Candidates must have an HCA certificate and be registered with CLPNA (or in process). Availability for 24-hour care shifts Wednesday through Sunday is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to follow care plans and document care.
• Access to Internet/Mobile phone.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients on outings.
• Shopping and errands.

Job Summary

As a HCA , you'll be an important member of our home care team, working closely with our Care Coordinators to provide personalized care that helps clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to brighten someone's day and make a lasting difference. This is TEMPORARY position that could lead to a more permanent schedule. For this position you MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR 24 HOUR CARE SHIFTS WEDNESDAY THRU SUNDAY each week. We are looking to fill this position asap.
