Qualicare Home Care is hiring Health Care Workers to help seniors and adults live safely and independently at home. You will assist with personal care, medication reminders, meals, and mobility while following each client’s care plan.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, or a care setting.
• Knowledge of personal care and safe client support.
• Experience with dementia care is an asset.
• Medication support experience is an asset.
• Experience supporting people with disabilities is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Supporting clients with walking, transfers, and mobility.
• Preparing or reheating meals.
• Giving reminders or support with medications, as directed.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Helping keep the client’s home clean and safe.
• Supporting clients living with dementia or disabilities.
• Following the client’s care plan.
• Reporting changes or concerns to the Director of Care.
• Documenting care clearly and on time.
• Transferring assistance from manual to mechanical.

What You Will Do

As a Health Care Worker, you will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Your duties may include:
