Calgary Co-op is seeking a Cannabis Store Manager to oversee a cannabis location, focusing on service, program execution and profitability. The role includes scheduling, budgeting, performance management and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications include Grade 12, SellSafe, knowledge of cannabis strains, Alberta regulations, two years of retail management, and AGLC approval as a Qualified Cannabis Worker.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education.
• Current SellSafe Certification.
• Knowledge of Cannabis strains in effect.
• Working knowledge of regulations as it pertains to the selling of Cannabis in Alberta.
• Two years of retail management experience.
• AGLC approval as a Qualified Cannabis Worker.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store operates under Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission regulations.
• Oversee daily store management per company policies and expectations.
• Provide feedback to Operations Manager and develop mini-action plans as needed.
• Demonstrate leadership to maintain a positive, motivated workforce.
• Develop and achieve store budget objectives in sales, margins, expenses, profits, and inventory turns.
• Schedule staff according to sales needs and maintain proper EHP.
