Retail Shift Leader / Delivery Driver – Canna Cabana, a leading cannabis retailer in Calgary, is hiring a dual role in Okotoks, Alberta. The role involves providing exceptional customer service in-store and ensuring efficient cannabis delivery service within the community. Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to store management in supervising and facilitating daily operations of the store.
• Oversee responsibilities of the Store Manager in the absence of SM or ASM.
• Assist in the delivery of key personnel management when on shift and resolve any customer service issues as needed.
• Provide direction, guidance and instruction to all store associates as required.
• Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.
• Act as the sales and customer service leader/role model in the absence of SM/ASM.
• Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff.
• Ensure company policies and relevant legislation are consistently adhered to by all staff members.
• Handle customer complaints as they arise, escalating to the appropriate individual as deemed necessary.
• Ensure all health, safety and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met on shift.
• Achieve sales target and store-level KPIs.
• Ensure employees on shift are actively pursuing sales goals.
• Oversee and assist in inventory management and be accountable for the inventory processes on shift.
• Deliver cannabis products safely and promptly within 45 minutes of order placement.
• Inspect and maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Verify customer identification before making deliveries.
• Follow assigned routes, transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Use delivery apps and communicate with customers as necessary.
• Manage cash floats and collect payments when required.
• Complete high school education and/or college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training (required).
• Hold a valid Driver's License and demonstrate excellent and safe driving skills (required).
• Provide a clean driving abstract with no violations in last three years and no major violations at any time.
• Have minimum of 2 years of work experience in the retail industry (required; cannabis industry preferred).
• Have 3 years of verifiable driving experience preferred (based on insurance eligibility criteria).
• Possess a valid First Aid certification (asset).
• Have completed a Defensive Driver course (asset).
• Possess a current SellSafe certification for working in a retail cannabis store in Alberta (required).
• Have a working smartphone with a data plan and charger (required).
• Show effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods and routes.
• Be highly responsible, reliable and dependable.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
