Job summary

Based out of Value Buds Jasper Ave location in Jasper, BC, we are seeking an experienced Supervisor who can handle curveballs like a champ. Not only will they be responsible for ensuring the store is in tip-top shape, but they’ll also become masters in everything cannabis and will be eager to share their new knowledge with our awesome customers.

We’re looking for go-getters who love to meet new people and cultivate relationships and are excited to learn more about this up and coming industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Minimum 2 years of retail/hospitality experience.
• Cannabis, liquor or healthcare experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CannSell certification.
• First-Aid certificate is an asset.
• Criminal record check required.
• Knowledge of cannabis regulations in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver exemplary service.
• Educate, advise and upsell products to customers.
• Maintain store presentation and inventory in partnership with management.
• Meet or exceed department financial targets with management.
• Ensure compliance with merchandising and pricing guidelines.
• Handle communications and ordering in absence of management.
• Support product launches and local market initiatives.
• Stay informed on industry legislation and trends.
• Participate in safety and regulatory trainings.
