Job summary

Value Buds Warman is seeking a motivated Keyholder/Shift Lead to be the face of our cannabis retail brand. You’ll deliver exceptional service, guide customers, and support teammates in a fast-paced environment.

This position involves leading by example, operating the POS, processing payments, stocking shelves, receiving deliveries, and ensuring regulatory compliance including ID verification. We offer flexible scheduling and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.
