Job summary

Canna Cabana in London, Ontario is seeking part-time Shift Leaders who are knowledgeable, responsible, hardworking, dedicated, and mature to join our team. You will assist store management in supervising daily operations and act as a leadership role in the absence of SM/ASM.

The role emphasizes sales leadership, customer service, health and safety compliance, inventory control, and staffing support across shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• CannSell certification required to work in a retail cannabis store.
• Police Background Check required.
• Demonstrated sales and service orientation needed.
• Minimum 2 years in retail; cannabis industry preferred.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent time management skills required.
• Ability to train and motivate staff.
• Ability to lead by example.
• Basic office administration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to daily store operations on shift.
• Oversee Store Manager duties in their absence.
• Support personnel management on shift and resolve customer issues.
• Direct and guide store associates as needed.
• Maintain store standards and safety regulations.
• Assist in staffing to meet business needs.
• Serve as sales leader and customer service role model.
• Greet customers and model exemplary conduct.
• Ensure policy and safety compliance by staff.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate when needed.
• Maintain shift health, safety, and security standards.
• Aim to achieve sales targets and KPI performance.
• Oversee inventory processes on shift.
