Job summary

Canna Cabana Inc. in Bridlewood, Calgary, Alberta is seeking Part-Time Shift Leaders who are reliable, mature, and customer-focused to supervise daily store operations on shift.

You will support store management, guide staff, and ensure safety and policy compliance while driving sales and customer satisfaction. The role requires SellSafe certification, 2+ years in retail (cannabis experience preferred), and flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends at various locations.

Qualifications

• Must have SellSafe certification.
• High school diploma and college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training required.
• Minimum 2 years retail experience; cannabis industry preferred.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to train and motivate staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Team-oriented with strong diplomacy and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work nights, holidays, weekends and different locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to store management in supervising daily operations.
• Oversee responsibilities of Store Manager in their absence.
• Assist in personnel management during shifts and resolve customer issues.
• Guide and instruct store associates as required.
• Ensure store standards, health, safety and security regulations are met.
• Support staffing levels to meet business needs when requested.
• Lead by example as sales and customer service leader when SM/ASM absent.
• Greet and assist customers, modeling exemplary conduct.
• Ensure policy compliance by all staff members.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate as needed.
• Oversee inventory management and shift-level processes.
