Job summary

Canna Cabana Inc. in Bracebridge, Ontario is seeking a Shift Leader to assist store management in daily operations and to model excellent customer service on every shift.

You will help supervise staff, meet sales targets, oversee inventory on shift, and ensure health and safety standards are followed while delivering an outstanding Cannabis retail experience for customers in a busy franchise location.

Qualifications

• Must have CannSell to work in a retail cannabis store.
• Police Background Check required or able to obtain.
• Demonstrated sales and service orientation required.
• Minimum 2 years retail experience; cannabis industry preferred.
• First Aid certification is a plus.
• Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to train and motivate staff and lead by example.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong customer service and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to store management in supervising and facilitating daily operations.
• Oversee the Store Manager duties in their absence.
• Assist in personnel management on shift and resolve customer issues.
• Direct and train staff; ensure store standards are met.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet business needs when requested.
• Be the sales and customer service leader on shift.
• Greet customers and model exemplary conduct.
• Ensure policy and health, safety, and security standards are followed.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate when needed.
• Meet sales targets and store KPIs; manage inventory on shift.
