Job summary

StackAdapt Inc. is seeking a skilled payroll professional to own end-to-end Canadian payroll across multiple provinces, ensuring accurate payments and compliance with federal and provincial rules.

You will review inputs, manage deductions, and coordinate with People Experience and Finance to resolve issues. The role emphasizes process improvement, system enhancements, and collaboration with external providers, with a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multi-province Canadian payroll processing experience.
• Knowledge of CRA regulations, provincial payroll requirements, deductions, remittances, and year-end processes.
• Experience with payroll/HRIS platforms (ADP Workforcenow, UKG, Rippling or similar).

Responsibilities

• Own and process end-to-end Canadian payroll across multiple provinces.
• Review and validate payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, commissions, leaves, vacation payouts).
• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll legislation (income tax, CPP, EI, employer payroll taxes).
• Reconcile payroll registers, liabilities, and GL entries; maintain audit-ready records.
• Partner with People Experience, Finance, providers to resolve payroll issues and keep data up to date.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and support system implementations and testing.
