The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and timely processing within a fast-paced construction environment. You will handle weekly and bi-weekly cycles, calculate deductions, remittances, and year-end filings, and collaborate with HR and Finance to maintain data integrity.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of full-cycle Canadian payroll experience.
• Experience with union payroll and multi-province processing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of source deductions, remittances, and T4 reporting.
• Experience in construction or project-based environments is an asset.
• Proficient with payroll/time-entry systems and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end weekly and bi-weekly payroll for multiple Canadian entities.
• Validate time, pay rates, overtime, premiums, and deductions.
• Prepare remittances, ROEs, and year-end tax reporting.
• Reconcile payroll data and maintain audit trails.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, site admins to resolve payroll issues.
