Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Canada seeks a senior payments leader to own the domestic payment product portfolio, spanning real-time, batch, and legacy rails, and to shape Citi's approach for large corporate and financial institution clients.

You will lead a product team, drive a 3–5 year roadmap, manage P&L, partner with Sales and Implementation, and oversee modernization of rails like Real-Time Rail, ACSS, and Interac solutions while ensuring regulatory and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in financial services or fintech with 10+ years in transaction banking PM or commercialization.
• At least 5 years of direct people leadership in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Deep knowledge of Canada's clearing and settlement ecosystem (ACSS, Real-Time Rail, Interac).
• Proven ability to manage product P&L, build business cases and pricing models.

Responsibilities

• Formulate a 3–5 year strategic roadmap for Canadian domestic payment products.
• Own domestic payment product revenue, pricing, volume growth, and margins.
• Collaborate with Sales, Corporate Banking, and Implementation to drive client adoption.
• Lead cross-functional squads across Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Client Services.
• Represent Citi with industry bodies and ensure regulatory compliance.
