Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Senior Consultant for Payment Transformation & Delivery in Toronto. The role focuses on building an integrated strategy for payment systems and articulating business requirements to ensure competitive, resilient payments capabilities.

The position supports a hybrid work arrangement with 1–3 days on-site and engages with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to drive pragmatic delivery and modernization in Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience building integrated strategy/plan for payment systems and delivery.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technology delivery.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 and payment processing.

Responsibilities

• Embrace the strategic agenda and drive implementation with agile teams.
• Delivery of modernization initiatives including Enterprise Wires modernization and ISO20022 adoption.
• Apply critical thinking to design payment solutions that meet business outcomes.
• Build relationships with Product, Technology, Risk and other lines of business, partners and vendors.
