Position Summary

A Self-Checkout Attendant assists customers with transactions at self-service areas and provides exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience and foster customer loyalty, while adhering to Walmart's core beliefs and values.

What You'll Do

1. Keep the area neat, clean, and organized, free of debris and liquids.
2. Educate customers on the proper use of self-service options.
3. Promote company programs such as credit cards, product protection, and charity initiatives.
4. Observe customer activities to determine when assistance is needed.
5. Explain reasons for interventions or quality checks politely, reassuring customers that these are standard procedures.
6. Respond to EAS alarms and complete related logs.
7. Call the Customer Service Manager for issues like low cash in the area or technical problems.
8. Return Scan & Go scanners after use.

Minimum Qualifications

Age 16 or older.
