Job summary

Walmart Canada in Napanee, ON is seeking a maintenance cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program and help maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment. The role emphasizes cost control and adherence to safety standards.

You will work with store teams to clean Fresh Departments, stock areas, and ensure equipment is well maintained, with opportunities to complete in-store certification programs. The minimum wage starts at $18.40 per hour.

• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
