Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a team member to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program, helping keep the store clean and safe for customers and associates.

You will follow a comprehensive cleaning regimen with attention to food safety standards, cold chain guidelines, and proper operation of cleaning equipment.

The role starts at a minimum hourly rate of 18.05 CAD, with duties across Fresh Departments, floors, and general store areas.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
