Job summary

Walmart Canada in Oakville, ON is seeking a dedicated cleaner to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program, helping keep the store clean and safe for customers and associates.

You will follow the cleaning regimen, assist in inspecting equipment and supplies, and ensure compliance with Food Safety standards and in-store certification programs while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Age – 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
