Job summary

Walmart Canada in Vaughan, ON is seeking a Cleaning Associate to maintain sanitary conditions across Fresh Departments and back‑of‑house areas. The role involves following cleaning protocols, assisting with equipment checks, and helping ensure a safe, compliant store environment.

Primary responsibilities include coordinating with the Stocking 3 Coach and store associates to execute a thorough cleaning regimen, while adhering to food safety standards and company policies.

• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
