Job summary

Walmart Canada in Bowmanville is seeking an associate to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program, ensuring a clean and safe shopping and working environment. You will work with store teams to uphold food safety standards and cold chain guidelines while maintaining cleanliness across Fresh Departments.

The role requires 18+ years of age, with opportunities to grow through in-store certifications and policy adherence. This position is based at 2320 Highway 2 in Bowmanville, ON.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking Coach and cooperates with associates on cleaning regiment.
• Complies with Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assists in inspecting maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensure supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by completing required in-store certification programs and following all company policies and procedures.
• Cleans floors using mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets in non-sales areas.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.40.
