Job summary

Walmart Canada in Brampton, ON is seeking a Maintenance Cleaning Associate to join a structured cleaning program ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment.

You will execute floor cleaning, assist in inspecting equipment, stock supplies, and cooperate with store teams to meet food safety and cold chain guidelines. The position starts at $18.05 per hour.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
