Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp is seeking a dedicated maintenance cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program at our Oakville location. You will work with store associates to maintain hygiene across departments, ensure safety and compliance with food safety standards, and perform routine floor and equipment cleaning.

The role requires strong communication, adherence to procedures, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with associates on cleaning regimens.

• Executes timely cleaning of Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Inspects cleaning equipment and ensures supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe environment by completing in-store certification programs.
• Cleans floors and non-sales areas using mopping, sweeping, vacuuming.

Position Summary...

To participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program while controlling expenses to ensure a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

What you'll do...

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
