Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a team-oriented associate to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program across our Calgary area store. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe shopping and working environment while supporting cost-control measures.

Responsibilities include cleaning of fresh department areas, assisting with equipment checks and supplies, and completing in-store certification programs as required by company policies.

• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
