Job summary

Walmart Canada in Airdrie, AB is hiring a Maintenance Associate to participate in a structured cleaning program and help maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment. The role involves coordinating with the Stocking 3 Coach and colleagues to uphold cleanliness standards and safety.

You will adhere to Food Safety standards, clean Fresh Departments, inspect equipment, and help ensure required in-store certifications are completed while following all company policies.

• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Inspects maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes safety by completing required in-store certifications and following company policies.
• Cleans floors by mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets in non-sales areas.

• 4.Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• 5.Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• 6.When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.95.
