Job summary

Walmart in Vaughan, Ontario is seeking a dedicated maintenance cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program while controlling costs to keep the store clean and safe for customers and associates.

The role involves following food safety standards, cleaning all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures, inspecting equipment, and supporting in-store certification programs to ensure compliance and a safe shopping environment.

• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
